Dodgeville Middle School: Summer Music Program

Full Description:

We are looking forward to an exciting four weeks of musical opportunities for current 5-8th grade band students. All band students are encouraged to attend. The program begins on June 11th—July 6th. Students will meet on Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 8:30-9:30 a.m. Our 8th graders provides excellent leadership in continuing this fun summer parade tradition in Dodgeville. There is no cost. However, students should purchase a music lyre and flip folder to hold marching music. Every participant will receive an exclusive summer music T-shirt. Current 6th-8th grade students will practice on Monday, Wednesday and Friday after marching band from 9:40-10:30 a.m. We will need guitarists, percussionists, and pianists for our rhythm section. Ms. Bina and Mr. Larry Owen will be assisting with our program. Additional information and a registration forms are available in the band office. Every student enrolled in band should complete a form to give T-shirt size and also include possible conflict dates due to family vacations.
