Historic Blue Mounds Heritage 2008 Calendars for Sale

The Blue Mounds Area Historical Society announces the availability of the Blue Mounds 2008 Heritage Calendar. It features photos from the early 1900's including those of Doc Bancroft's store, Main Street Blue Mounds, Blue Mounds School, Train Depot, and bank building as well as many others. The calendars are available at Blue Mounds General Store, Hooterville Inn, and by contacting Cindy Downs at 437-4688 or Thea Sklenar at 437-2288. They will also be on sale at the Festival of the Mounds grounds on September 15 and 16th as well as at the Step Into the Past Rendezvous event on September 29th at Brigham County Park. Proceeds will be used for restoration of the marker at the Fort Blue Mound historic site, as well as society operating costs. The calendars sell for $15.
